Viewing Map Location

The Map Location lets you keep a track of the assets in FASTER Web. You can view the location of individual assets that are pinned on the map.

Note: The FASTER Web application server must have internet access if you are using the VIN Decoder or Asset Location features. The server will need to access to the following:

· NHTSA website to get VIN information

· OpenStreetMap website to provide mapping

Tip

To view the Map Location page, click the Map Location image.

To view map location of assets

1. In the Assets module, click Map Location from the Actions menu.

The Map Location page opens.

2. To view the asset's map location between a date range, specify the Start Date and End Date in the Search Locations section and click Locate.

The asset locations pinned on the map for the date range are displayed.
