  5393	Assets	All meter readings remain required unless you choose to change the meter requirement settings. While creating an asset from scratch, from template or when editing an existing asset or template, users can now define the meter readings as required or optional for the Work order and Fuel (including Manual entry of fuel transaction and Import fuel transaction) features of FASTER Web. Additionally, if the meter reading for a fuel transaction is set to optional, you still have the option to validate the meter readings while importing the fuel transaction. In this case, all valid meter readings are accepted and invalid meter readings are displayed on the Process Errors tab. For an optional meter, a blank entry in the import file is ignored and a zero is considered as a meter reading and is validated accordingly. Users can also mark a meter as required or optional for work order and fuel transactions through Assets Mass Update for multiple assets at one time. Also, users can update the Validate on Import value through Asset Mass Update. The following options available in the Asset Field list of Asset Mass Update lets you perform mass update for work order and fuel meter readings: Meter required for Work Order Meter required for Fuel   Validate on import	Assets > Meters and Warranties Assets > Meters and Warranties > Editing Meters
