Searching Persons

The Persons dialog box lets you search a person's record or add a new person record in FASTER Web.

Note: To add a user, the details of the person should be present in the person's list of FASTER Web. If the person's record is not present, a new person record must be created, and then added as a user in FASTER Web. For information on adding a new person record, see the Add New Person topic.

Tip

To view the Persons dialog box, click the Persons link.

To search a person's name

1.    Open the Manage Users page.

2.    Click the Add New User link.

The Add New User dialog box opens.

3.    Click the Search/ Add Person link next to the Person's Name box.

The Persons dialog box opens.

4.    In the Search Person's Name box, type the person's name.

5.    When finished, do one of the following:

o      Click Search to display the person details.

The Search Results grid displays the list of people with the same first name/ last name along with the following information:

§       Title

§       Primary phone

§       Email

o      Click Cancel to clear the text in the Search Person's Name box.

Note:

  • In the Action column of the Search Results grid, click the Select link next to the person's name you want to add.

The name gets automatically added in the Person's Name box of Add New User dialog box.
