Vendors

The Vendor List page lets you add vendors who can access the FASTER web services.

To view the Add New Vendor dialog box, click the Add New Vendor link.

To add a new vendor

1.    Click the Setup module.

2.    In the Administrative Setup section, click next to Web Services.

The Vendors and Log Search sections open.

3.    Click Vendors.

The Vendor List page opens.

4.    Click the Vendor Setup link.

5.    In the Add New Vendor dialog box, specify the following:

a.    In the Vendor Name list, select a vendor who can access the FASTER web services.

b.    In the Web Service Username and Password boxes, type the vendor username and password to access the web service.

Note:

·       Click the Generate Password link to populate a system-generated password in the Password box.

·       Click the Clear Password link to remove the password from the Password box.

c.     In the FASTER Username list, select a FASTER Web user with whom you want to associate the web service vendor.

Note:  You can also select the following optional fields:

·       In the Date Range From and To fields, type the date and time in the MM/DD/YY HH:MM AM/PM format, or select the date from the calendar and time from the clock for which the vendor can access the FASTER web service.

·       In the IP Address OR Range of IP Address From and To boxes, type the vendor IP range and click Add. To remove the IP address range, select the IP range and click .

·       In the Web service(s) section, select the web services that the vendor can access. Use the arrows available to select or remove the web services. When you select the Accounting web service, the Accounting Settings link is enabled. Click the Accounting Settings link to add the account charge type.

6.    When finished, click one of the following:

o      Save to save the information and close the dialog box.

o      Save & New to save the information and add another record.

o      Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.

Note: To reset a vendor password, select a vendor from the Vendor List, click the Reset Password for Selected Vendor link and provide a new password in the Password box.
