Repair Codes

A repair code is a unique identifier of repair in FASTER Web. It is the combination of repair group, component, and action.

·       Group: All the components of a part are grouped together under a name. Example, Air conditioning.

·       Component: Elements of a part. Example, compressor.

·       Action: Types of repair activities that is performed on the component. Example, clean up.

The Repair Codes page lets you manage the following:

·       Repair Group Component Action

·       Repair Reason

·       Repair Schedule

·       TWS Repair Category

·       Group

·       Component

·       Action

To open the repair codes page

1.    Click the Setup module.

2.    In the Application Setup section, do one of the following:

o      Click next to the Maintenance option, and then click Repair Codes.

o      In the Maintenance section of Application Setup, click the Repair Codes link.

The Repair Codes page opens.
