The ADFS.CertificateIssuerName value in the application settings of IIS will need to be configured. This value will be fetched from the AD FS Server.
1. In AD FS Management navigate to Service/Certificates. Located in the right hand pane, copy or record the value located under the Subject field Service communications (i.e. adfs.yoursite.com, OU=Domain Control Validate) and do not include CN= within the value. The Service communications value will be used in the steps below.
Note: If you are a FASTER hosted user then provide the Service communications Subject field details or the screen shot of your ADFS Certificate details to your Implementation Coordinator.
1. Go to search tab and search Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, click Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
2. In IIS Manager expand Default Web Site and select the applicable web sites. Depending on your FASTER Web deployment, there may be more than one site listed (i.e. FASTER, FASTERTech, MotorPool etc. etc. you will need to do this for all sites). Double click Application Settings in the right hand pane.
3. The Application Settings window is displayed. Double click ADFS.CertificateIssuerName.
4. Under Value: enter the token-signing value (retrieved from the section above titled Retrieving the AD FS Certificate Issuer Name in AD FS). i.e. adfs.yoursite.com, OU=Domain Control Validate.
