Asset Replacement
Purpose
Identify assets in need of replacement and project costs.
You can choose whether or not to show an Asset's Children. If so, children assets are displayed underneath the parent asset as long as the parent asset is due and family costs are shown. If not, children assets are displayed on their own line and only if they are due for replacement.
Provides
Shows assets due for replacement on or before the ending replacement date. Points are accrued based on:
- Current life compared to the life expectancy.
- Life-to-date meter compared to the life expectancy of the meter.
- Repair dollars spent compared to original cost.
- Adjusted replacement cost.
When to Run
Yearly or as needed to review replacement costs.
Running the Report
Steps to view a report
- Click the Reports tab.
The Standard window opens.
- In the Assets section, click Asset Replacement.
- In the new window, select or enter the appropriate parameters.
Required parameters are indicated by an *.
- Click the View Report button in the upper right of the screen.
- Page through the document using the controls in the upper left.

- Search by a keyword using the Find/Next box at the top of the screen.

- To update the information on the page, click the Refresh button at the top of the screen.

- Click the Export button.

- Select the appropriate format.
This will generate a File dialogue box specific to your computer.
